Loan Originator Location: Needham, Massachusetts
Job Description: We are currently seeking several seasoned Loan Originators who are looking to advance their careers to the next level. The successful candidates are proven self-starters with a demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision.
Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of professional experience in commercial real estate finance or credit with a proven ability in handling large/complex commercial real estate loans.
Asset Manager Location: Needham, Massachusetts
Job Description:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Conduct monthly financial review of property operating performance
Prepare quarterly asset summaries for internal and external use
Enter and monitor asset information into the in house database
Develop financial models and analysis on assets and portfolio, ownership/lease structures, and location analysis
Review loan documents, lease agreements, and other materials as part of the due diligence/valuation process
Report on renovation status
Manage draw requests
Interact with Borrowers
Coordinate with onsite engineers to perform site inspections
Compose marketing materials and investment packages for external use
Compile market data information to disseminate to upper management
Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations and reports
Facilitate transition from construction completion to permanent financing
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a minimum of 3 years of related experience. Workout experience a must. Proficiency in excel, Microsoft Access and Argus is necessary. Light travel required. Prior knowledge of real estate legal documents a plus.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Review preliminary financing packages and perform cash flow analyses to evaluate and structure financing opportunities
Participate in property inspections across the U.S. with the underwriting team, assisting in evaluating a specific property, its competitive set and the overall market
Assist underwriter in drafting transaction narrative describing the asset, location, market, financial performance and borrower's business plan
Evaluate third party reports (property condition, environmental and appraisal) to identify potential issues or areas requiring further investigation
Perform ad hoc analyses and other requests by members of the underwriting team on an as-needed basis
Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree in Business and/or Finance. The ideal Candidate will have at least one year underwriting/analyst experience. Candidate must be detail-oriented with in-depth analytical aptitude, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a strong knowledge of Excel. The individual must be capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
